Newlands 2
Our second project in Langton Green builds on the success of our previous scheme next door, continuing a shared vision with AOMD and Heard Landscapes.
The aim is to create a home that feels rooted in its context while offering a contemporary architectural language. The design draws on the character of Newlands and the historic forms of Langton Green, blending pitched roofs, folded gables, and crafted detailing with modern spatial qualities.
Materiality and craftsmanship are central. A palette of locally sourced brick, clay tiles, and timber detailing references the tones and textures of Langton Green, while contemporary glazing and refined metalwork add a modern edge. Inside, generous, light-filled spaces with exposed rafters and open-plan living areas connect seamlessly to the garden.
